Dating G&L USA Guitars is difficult. We believe this guitar was made sometime around the mid 90's, although it is difficult to know for sure. This ASAT Special is a really great sounding guitar, thanks to the G&L Jumbo single coils which provide a tone not dissimilar to that of a P90.

This guitar features many dings on the body, neck and headstock. The guitar also features tarnishing of metal hardware including the bridge and knobs. There are a couple of lacquer cracks on the neck heel. The fretboard lacquer has worn through in several places but the frets are in extremely good condition and the guitar has most likely had a fret dress recently.
