In 2001, the Fender American Standard range was replaced by the American Series, until being discontinued in 2007 to make way for the American Standard once again. The guitar we have here is a 2003 American Series Stratocaster in Chrome Red. The guitar features a 22 fret rosewood fretboard, 3 custom single coil pickups, 1 volume/2 tone and a synchronised 2 point tremolo.
The guitar is in good condition but does feature a few marks and dings on the body. As with many fender guitars of this era, the skunk stripe has very slightly started to lift out the neck and the lacquer has cracked around it. This can be felt but doesn't compromise the playability of the guitar. It comes with a hard case.
